TOM ALTER

Tom Alter is a well known Bollywood and television actor who has been associated with film and television for more than 37 years. In 2008, he was awarded Padma Shri by the Indian government. Alter is fluent in Hindi and knowledgeable of Indian culture. He has worked for noted filmmakers like Satyajit Ray in Shatranj Ke Khiladi and is remembered for his role as a British officer in Kranti.

Tom is also a seasoned theater actor. In 1977 he along with Naseeruddin Shah and Benjamin Gilani formed a theatre group called Motley Productions.

He also appeared in a solo play 'Maulana', based on Maulana Azad for which he has received much critical acclaim. He has also received praise for his role in the art film Ocean of An Old Man, which has been screened at film festivals around the world.

Vinati Makijany

VINATI MAKIJANY

Vinati Makijany is an accomplished theatre actor and Art Director/Set Dresser of feature films and commercials. She is 24 years old, graduated in Bio-technology from Jai Hind College Mumbai.

Daughter of Actor Mac Mohan, Vinati has been performing on stage for more than 7 years for groups like IPTA, Gillo and now also QTP. She is also the youngest Committee member for the prestigious theatre group IPTA Mumbai. A trained Bharat Natyam dancer, Vinati has also attended the intensive theatre workshop at Adishakti Laboratory for Theater Art Research in Pondicherry.

Stage plays written by her Dia and Kaamna won her best actress, best director and best play. Dia (a play about a mute child, a naughty brat, who realizes how hard it is to confess love to family) went on to be performed by WE CAN DO IT a theatre production company in Singapore.

For her plays Dastak and Coming soon she bagged best performer. Amongst several other award winning plays, she was also the stand comedy winner at MOOD Indigo a national level college festival. For her contribution to theatre Vinati was awarded Excellence In the field of Dramatics upon her graduation.

PUSHTIIE SHAKTI

Pushtiie Shakti is an Indian actress best known as playing the lead role of Mahi Talwar in the comedy series Mahi Way on Sony TV.

Shakti has appeared in the second season of a famous comedy soap that ran on Zee TV known as Hum Paanch, in the late 1990s. She played the youngest daughter of Anand Mathur (played by Ashok Saraf), "Chotti" among the five daughters. This serial was produced by Ekta Kapoor. Actor Vidya Balan happened to play one of the elder sisters of Pushtiie in this soap.

Pushtiie played a role in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, the Indian version of Ugly Betty. She played the character of Sanya's best friend in the soap Sanya that was aired on Hungama TV. Her brother Vrajesh Hirjee, happens to be a famous comedian and actor in Bollywood films and shows.
